Herter & Co. advises Sun European Partners on the financing of the acquisition of ESIM Chemicals

Herter & Co. has advised private equity group Sun European Partners on the financing of the acquisition of ESIM Chemicals (“ESIM”, “Company”) through an affiliate of Sun European Partners LLP. ESIM is a leading Austrian fine chemicals manufacturer and top 3 crop protection CMO player in Europe. The proposed transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Herter & Co. coordinated a financing package of more than €200m underwritten by BNP Paribas, IKB Deutsche Industriebank, ING and SEB. Closing and syndication of the financing are currently being prepared and are expected to take place over the next weeks.
