Herter & Co. advises Goldman Sachs on the leveraged buy-out of Oikos Group

Herter & Co. has advised Goldman Sachs (as fund manager for West Street Capital Partners VIII) on the financing of the acquisition of Oikos Group (“Oikos”) from funds advised by Equistone Partner Europe. Oikos is one of the leading B2C providers of single and two-family houses active in Germany (core), Austria, Switzerland and UK with a total of more than €400m turnover in 2020. The proposed transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Herter & Co. coordinated a competitive process alongside the main M&A auction and structured an overall financing package of over €300m which was ultimately underwritten by Blackstone Alternative Credit Advisors, the international private debt fund manager. The financing package includes a unitranche facility as well as committed capex and acquisition facilities to support the group’s organic and inorganic growth going forward.
