Herter & Co. has advised TRIMET Aluminium SE on the renewal and amendment of its syndicated loan. The new syndicated loan amounts to €140m and could be arranged at attractive conditions.

“The newly arranged financing provides us with the required financing security for the upcoming years while allowing for sufficient operational flexibility. Herter & Co. supported us throughout all phases of our financing process, including the preparation of key documents, new bank selection as well as final documentation.”, said Martin Söffge, Chief Financial Officer of TRIMET Aluminium SE.

The renewed and amended syndicated loan facility is provided by 7 existing banks as well as 2 new banks.

With ca. 2,300 employees and an annual production capacity of 740kt, the TRIMET Group is the largest producer of aluminium in Germany. In the fiscal year 2018/19, the Company generated revenues of more than €1.5bn.
