Herter & Co. \u2013 Teneo Capital Advisory \u2013 has successfully advised TRIMET Aluminium SE on the refinancing of its existing revolving credit facility. As part of the transaction, the facility was upsized to \u20ac275 million. The new financing strengthens the aluminium producer\u2019s liquidity position and financial flexibility, providing additional headroom to support the continued development of the business in a persistently challenging market environment.<\/p>\n

The facility agreement was signed in May 2026 with a consortium of ten banks. In addition to increasing the overall facility volume, key terms of the financing documentation were further developed and tailored to the current requirements of the TRIMET Group.<\/p>\n

TRIMET Group is Germany\u2019s only primary aluminium producer. They also operate an aluminium smelter in France, making it one of the leading primary aluminium producers in Europe. The independent family-owned company develops, produces, recycles, casts and markets advanced lightweight aluminium products across eight locations. With around 2,500 employees, a production capacity of 765,000 tonnes and revenues of \u20ac1.9 billion in the 2024\/25 financial year, TRIMET Group is a major industrial partner across the aluminium value chain.<\/p>\n
