January 1st, 2026 \u2013 Frankfurt \u2013 Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Michael Spahn as a Senior Managing Director with Herter & Co. in Frankfurt, part of Teneo\u2019s Financial Advisory business. Michael will lead the Infrastructure Debt practice at Herter & Co. \u2013 Teneo Capital Advisory, while also supporting the continued growth of Teneo\u2019s Financial Advisory business in Europe. He is joined by a team of professionals with experience across leading infrastructure debt providers.<\/p>\n
For more than 20 years, Michael has been active in German and international corporate financing and advisory. Prior to joining Herter & Co., he spent over 11 years at ING Bank, where he scaled and led ING\u2019s German Public Sector business for eight years. Most recently, Michael managed a loan portfolio of EUR 5 billion while advising leading energy companies.<\/p>\n
Earlier in his career, Michael was a Senior Project Manager, Loan Origination, at SEB AG and an Assistant Director of Corporate Finance advisory at Deloitte. He began his career with Dresdner Kleinwort.<\/p>\n
