Banks and par-lenders

Lender groups have become increasingly large and complex in the past.

Financing on different levels of a company, different collateral packages and lending instruments, size, subordination agreements, nationalities or principally different goals like e.g. from distressed investors are only a few examples, which lead to different goals and strategies of credit providers. Even in the same group, opinions often diverge given the different background of the lenders.

Herter & Co. helps to achieve the goals of the relevant lender group. The work includes the organization of the own lending group and the development of a Restructuring Plan beneficial for the lending group (incl. a company valuation, debt capacity and recovery scenarios).

The long-standing contacts of the Herter & Co. Team with all major work-out teams of banks in Germany and with London-based debt investors help in this regard.
